History ...
Buhay na Tubig Elementary School - Maharlika Annex was established on June 2010 with the help of the Municipality of City of Imus and collaboration of the office of Barangay Maharlika. Maharlika Annex, during its first school year, started its operation in the Multipurpose Building, located within the premises of Maharlika Barangay Hall. Later on, in s.y. 2010-2011, the municipality built a two-storey building with four classrooms and comfort rooms in it, as aid for the school’s operation and for the convenience of learners in Maharlika. The founding members of the BNTES-MA school community were Eden P. Reyes, School head, and four teachers - Julie C. Berongoy, Grace Valdez, Jacqueline Bautista and Loida Gabriel; during their time, the school experienced an overgrowth in population of pupils, so the Imus City Municipality sent six Local School Board (LSB) teachers as reinforcements. In the midst of s.y. 2011-2012, the Department of Education-Schools Division of Imus City assigned Marilyn R. Tulay to serve as Maharlika’s Teacher-in-charge, and within her term the Division Office promoted the Faculty staff as permanent employed teachers. Meanwhile, a covered court was constructed near the school premises in s.y. 2012-2013, it was a project of former Provincial Governor Jonvic Remullla in cooperation with Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi and Cong. Ereneo “Ayong” Maliksi; together with their plan is the construction of another school building (three storey building with six classroom) for Maharlika, which was made possible through Basic Educational Building Funds (BEFF 2013). On the other hand, Ronnie B. Yohan was deployed as the Head Teacher of BNTES-Maharlika Annex on August 2013-March 2015, he ignited the Maharlikans’ spirit in aiming for progress and developing the school. Yohan’s advocacies has been continued by Marissa D.O. Agco, School head that sworn into office on 2015, and spearheaded the Maharlikans in their journey towards the glorious days. Finally, the school administration, faculty staff, in partnership with the school stakeholders, is continuing its efforts in promulgating and providing quality education for the 21st century Maharlika learners.
